it matters when your headtube comes away from your frame and you end up face first into the dirt BUT the kona stinky is a big travel bike and it isn't the first time i've seen people running boxxers on them i'd just be careful with it as kona tend to have a solid reputation for really weak headtubes. but its personal preference really i mean just cos theres a boxxer on it doesn't mean it'll snap double crown forks can be altered somewhat because of the crowns to prevent such a disaster from happening at least he's not running the boxxers with the stanctions pushed all the way through,

i know they are made for big forks but i can't help but say: "BYE BYE HEADTUBE!" when i see them monster t's on it especially with kona's reputation for headtube snappages hope it doesn't happen but chances are it MIGHT.

nice rig. personally i'd have gears but single speed is still a good option for simplicity means all you have to do is oil the chain instead of messing about with cables, shifters and worrying about rear mechs snapping and stuff.. when running single speed you could put much stronger bmx chains on it as well :P

Do you have intrest in Japan.
You stated its the best place on earth.
Im from America but have been here for almost 9 years and love it.
The culture is great and the food and women are delicious! Riding is very fun as well! I have solely built two seperate FR jump courses That are slowly getting noticed by other riders. There are not many FR/DH jump guys here but its growing little by little.
Ride on man.
